Morning: Encounter the charm of Beijing with [The Palace Museum]. The UNESCO world heritage: the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties,. Here you will take on a journey through China’s imperial past, with its ornate architecture, grand halls, and beautifully landscaped gardens. The well-preserved landmark, The Forbidden City, the center of imperial governance and family life, consists of various structures that were designed for specific functions. Each structure was built in accordance with the traditional Chinese architectural hierarchy and designed to reflect imperial power and authority. 

Afternoon: For a taste of tranquility amidst the bustling city, the [Temple of Heaven] offers a serene retreat where you can witness locals practicing tai chi and immersing themselves in ancient rituals. 

Today we will spend a day to one of the most iconic landmarks in Beijing, the awe-inspiring [Great Wall] of China, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which stretches across the picturesque countryside. Its sheer magnitude and historical significance make it an absolute must-visit. You'll be captivated by the panoramic views that unfold before your eyes. It was built by more than 20 kingdoms and feudal dynasties over 2,000 years since the Spring & Autumn Period and Warring States Period. And today, The Great Wall, a symbol of the Chinese ancient civilization, is a pride of the nation. 

Morning: Visit the National Museum of China. The National Museum of China (NMC) is China's supreme establishment that collects, researches, displays and interprets China's fine traditional culture, revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture. NMC is the top palace of history and art and a cultural parlor for China, where houses more than 1.4 million items of collection, covering ancient and modern artifacts, rare and antiquarian books, and works of art.

Afternoon: Then walk around Beijing Hutongs to enjoy what real Beijing is. Beijing’s Hutongs are a captivating network of narrow alleyways that weave through the heart of the city, offering a glimpse into the traditional way of life in the capital. Visiting the Hutongs is like stepping back in time, immersing yourself in the authentic charm of old Beijing. Whether you choose to explore on foot, ride a rickshaw, or hop on a rented bicycle, each turn reveals hidden gems and delightful surprises. The Hutongs are a living testament to the city's past, a testament to the resilience and enduring spirit of Beijing's residents.

At Dusk: Its a perfect time we move to [Xi’an City Wall]. Xi’an city wall has 13.74 kilometers long and it consists of a series of ancient military facilities. City, woods, river, road and lane integrate into a whole to organically become the important landmark symbol and spiritual home of this international metropolis with historic culture characteristic. You can rent bicycles at various points along the wall and ride along the wide and well-paved path that encircles the city. 

Today we will go to explore eight wonder of the world, the [Terracotta Warriors], in Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum. The Terracotta Warrior is an archaeological marvel and one of the most famous attractions in Xi'an. Discovered in 1974, this vast underground army was constructed over two millennia ago to accompany Emperor Qin Shi Huang in the afterlife. Standing before the rows upon rows of life-sized terracotta soldiers, each with unique facial expressions and detailed armor, can be a truly awe-inspiring sight.

Here, we provide you with a Qin Dynasty theme meal. You will dress up like a local people in Qin Dynasty, then the ceremonial officials will commence the banquet, and graceful maids will serve you. The cuisine that has been passed down for thousands of years will bring you an unforgettable experience of the Qin Dynasty.

Morning: Our professional guide would lead you to the [Shaanxi History Museum]. The museum houses ca. 1.7m pieces (sets) of artefacts with the chronological timespan ranging from more than one million years to the present. The diverse range of artefacts are of high quality and great historical values. 

Afternoon: In the afternoon, you will be invited to an elegant park which is home to many ancient steles. [Xi'an Beilin], also known as the Stele Forest, is a must-visit attraction in Xi'an, China. The main highlight of Xi'an Beilin is its collection of stone steles, which are stone slabs engraved with calligraphy and historical texts. These steles date back to various dynastiesand, immerse yourself in the historical and artistic atmosphere. 

Evening: To conclude your day, visit the enchanting Tang Paradise, also known as [the Great Tang All Day Mall]. This cultural theme park is inspired by the prosperous Tang Dynasty, known as the "Golden Age" of Chinese civilization. Explore the magnificent gardens, vibrant shows, and dazzling performances that bring this glorious era to life. Don't miss the stunning nightly water and light show, which beautifully showcases the splendor of the Tang Dynasty.

Morning: Head to the railway station to experience Chinese high-speed train to Chengdu. While in Chengdu, the hometown of giant pandas, you can't miss the [Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding]. The Panda Base wears its title as the sanctuary for giant pandas, red pandas, and other endangered wild animals exclusive to China with pride. The scenery is breathtaking: trees cover the slopes as crystal clear rivers wind down the hills. Forests line the paths, nesting birds that sing their sweet melodies. Here you can see the cute giant panda, and take picture with them.

Afternoon: Afterward, walk around [Wenshu Temple] and enjoy a cup of Chinese tea as the locals do. For dinner, be welcomed and escorted to enjoy an authentic Sichuan hotpot, one of the most widely-spreading Chinese flavors around the world. 

Morning: Rise early and visit the [Leshan Giant Buddha], a UNESCO World Heritage Site located about an hour away from Chengdu. The charm of the Buddha lies not only in its size but also in its architectural artistry.There are 1051 buns in the Buddha's coiled hair. Anther architectural highlight is the drainage system. This system is made up of some hidden gutters and channels,which helps displace rainwater and keep the inner part dry. This massive statue is carved into the side of a cliff overlooking the river and is truly awe-inspiring.

Afternoon: Return to Chengdu and explore the city's most famous landmark, the [Jinli Ancient Street]. This pedestrian-only street is lined with traditional architecture, street vendors, and shops selling local crafts and snacks.

After the tour, proceed to the airport for your flight to Shanghai.

Afternoon: Head to [Yu Garden], a classical Chinese garden dating back to the 16th century. Take a leisurely walk through the garden's winding paths and beautiful pavilions, and don't forget to sample some of the local snacks in the bustling bazaar nearby.

Evening: Visit the [iconic Bund], a waterfront area in central Shanghai. You can stroll along the promenade and admire the stunning architecture of the historic buildings on one side and the modern skyscrapers on the other. Colorful lights illuminate the area and create a shimmering image deserving of the name pearl of the orient. 

Morning: Start your day with a visit to the [Shanghai Museum]. With focuses on collecting, researching, displaying and education of pre-modern Chinese arts, the Museum has built up a collection of nearly 1,020,000 items, 140,000 of which are graded national treasures.

Afternoon: End your trip with a visit to [Tianzifang], a trendy arts and crafts enclave in the former French Concession. Here, you can explore the narrow alleyways lined with shops selling unique handmade items, enjoy some local cuisine, and check out the art galleries and studios.
